Kudos to you if you said Grease!
But enough of the movie trivia; you came here for food. So food is what I shall provide.
I modified my aunt's popular fruit crumble recipe to make it vegan, and I brought it along with me to a party. Everyone loved it (true, some of the party-goers weren't exactly sober when they ate it, so I don't know if you can trust their taste buds... but those of us who were in control of our senses thoroughly enjoyed the crumble as well).

Little Vegan Fruit Crumble
1/3 cup flour
2/3 cups oats
Fresh or frozen fruit of choice (This time, I used frozen peaches, but the crumble works really well with fresh or frozen berries, apples, pears, etc.)
½ cup sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
6 tablespoons Earth Balance, cut in
Lightly grease dish with Pam spray, then layer with fruit. Top with all other ingredients. Bake about 20-30 minutes at 375F. (To make the amount in the picture, I doubled the recipe.)

First a Beatles reference, now a Grease reference?? You've got taste girl! (Both in entertainment and food!!)
Peaches in a crumble sound lovely...makes me think of summer!
Oh, and sooooo glad that you liked the pate! It's one of the few ways I like carrots on their own. :)
I LOVE GREASE! I have seen it way too many times. I love the crumble, at first I read that your aunt was vegan and thought it was very cool.
I totally didn't get the trivia question right... sorry.
BUT - that crumble looks to die for! Mmmmm....
I was curious about a fruit crumble and now you give me such an easy recipe! thanks! I'm so trying it this weekend!
I loved Grease in school, we all did. I'm still wondering why, since the movie wasn't exactly brand new...
Mmmmm I love fruit crumbles. You are so right about them being great with any fruit! I think apple and berry crumbles are my favourite (my dad loves rhubarb crumble but I'm not quite so keen!)
I actually have a crumble topping ready made up in my freezer for when feel the need for a crumble quick! I also have some tinned pineapple in my cupboard. I might shove that in and see if it works.... : ) xxx
Oooo, crumble is the BEST! Looks like it's being made everywhere at the moment!
Yum, that sounds delicious! I'm going to have to make that sometime.
I keep seeing recipes for fruit crumble, but I don't think I've ever made or had it! Interesting. I love how you veganize your family's recipes!
wow that sounds so incredibly easy... i'll definitely be trying this soon!!!
I think I would like that crumble drunk or sober!
Crumbles are the best and I love that your recipe is so easy to put together. Peaches sound so delicious, can't wait for the fresh ones soon!
Warm that up and top it with vanilla soy ice cream and I would be in heaven!
Just wanted to mention that I had the blender cereal for breakfast today--only I heated it up gently before eating. Fab! The cereal soaks up the milk and it puffs up and thickens incredibly, like a thick, thick porridge (though smooth). It was so yummy and filling I won't have to eat again till dinner! Thanks for a great recipe :) .
A peach crumble sounds perfect and very summery! I bet it tasted wonderful, sober or not. :-)
What, you were with people who weren't sober?!?
So kidding!
I love crumbles so so much! Yum!
MMM i love cobbler! my favorite combo has always been peaches and raspberries.
that's so funny that you love thomas hardy, i mean i knew i couldn't be the only one, but his novels are dark and depressing enough that they don't exactly engender avid readership among the general population, haha. i took a class last semester on charles dickens? are you a dickensian fan too? i'm a girly girl though so my fav author is obviously austen :)
Great crumble!
I have recently discovered how great crumbles and crisps are. Peaches are one of my favourite summer fruits, can't wait to have them in season!
I trust your tastebuds. Usually your signature party treats seem to be cupcakes, cakes, or cookies... Yay for switching it up! This looks so yummy! Do you think quick oats would work okay for the recipe? ;)
And I don't know why, but for some reason I've never seen Grease all the way through! I seem to catch the last 5 minutes of it over and over and over...
